The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) has begun its new Data and AI accelerator program for local and international startups operating in Saudi Arabia.

The program focuses on the development of smart cities and aims to strengthen the Kingdom’s entrepreneurship ecosystem. This initiative forms part of the country’s goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which includes leveraging its investment potential to create a more diverse and sustainable economy while using its strategic location to strengthen its role as an integral driving force of international trade. SDAIA is conducting the accelerator program in partnership with Plug and Play, the world’s leading innovation platform with the goal to build a unique ecosystem that connects change-makers and leading organizations.

About the program:

Spaceti has been chosen as one of ten startups to participate in the accelerator program focused on Data and AI within the Smart Cities sector.

The accelerator program goes through three phases. In the first phase, the startup registers and faces the Challenge Day choice. Challenge Day reviews projects and innovative solutions. Ten startups will be selected as part of the second phase.

In the final phase, selected startups will participate in a three-month accelerator program. The program includes training workshops, events, incentives and ends on Demo Day. Participating startups will introduce the projects developed during the program to potential investors for financial support.
