Analyse Your Facility’s Data and Change It for the Better

Oct. 15, 2019

If you have a space that is unappealing, lacks sufficient room, and fails to meet employee demands, then you have massive potential to upgrade your workplace using data from the existing space, including the quality of the air, temperature, or use of each workspace. There are still companies where these levels are measured manually, but thanks to property technologies, or proptech, these processes are being automated with the goal of offering the highest-quality insights for management and leads to better decision-making. Transforming your workplace can help in recruiting and retaining the top talent available, no matter the field, while reducing costs.

These packages of data can be viewed in an easy-to-understand form through the Spaceti Dashboard, which is one of three components of our turnkey platform. We’ve prepared a short series about this complex tool that makes facility management more effective.

Flexible Workplace Analytics

In short, the Spaceti Dashboard is stand-alone software solution that interconnects a mobile application, sensors, API, SDK, and a variety of integrations to make the operation of the building easier and more effective. It collects data from sensors and other sources of data placed throughout the building. It’s accessible through a web browser. All information about the building is available on the dashboard, and the facility manager can edit and administer the entire space.

TIP! By Petr Nikolas Prokop, Spaceti Front-End Leader:

“Use the flexibility of the analytics to its utmost potential and filter data according to various parameters, including time periods, selected zones, or defined parts of the building such as individual departments.”

Spaceti’s turnkey solution includes an analytics suite that allows data to be filtered and visualised any way necessary. This allows facility managers or any other individual to monitor occupancy and environmental values. The analytics is connected to provided sensors that are installed in the building but can also work through the integration of third-party sensors that also collect information about temperature, humidity, or occupancy.

Dashboard Analytics Lower Operational Costs (at All Costs)

An analysis of occupancy can save costs by discovering unnecessary space or by providing the necessary data to make strategic decisions about spaces. It also helps in the creation of a workplace strategy and policies that facilitate hot-desking, activity-based working, and improve meeting room usage, etc. It’s a supportive tool when determining the spatial layout in the office, the right type of space, the appropriate number of desks, and the right size for meeting rooms.

Occupancy analytics resolving both under and over-utilisation of space deliver benefits in the form of performance improvements along with tangible cost savings. Past implementations have yielded space utilisation improvements of up to 25%*.

New call-to-action

The system allows you to monitor and manage your indoor environment much more effectively. Monitor CO2, temperature, and humidity and see overviews at the building level. Directly impact the efficiency of the indoor environment and save up to 4%** of the building’s utility costs and up to 10%*** productivity increase from using data to adjust the work environment (air quality, humidity, and temperature).

The system as a whole streamlines property and facility costs, saving you money, while also making the entire occupant experience much more pleasant. Once you install the Spaceti solution, you can begin collecting data and taking actionable insights from the Dashboard. However, the data and insights are insignificant without a clear strategy of how to use the data to enhance and improve the indoor environment.
